Three rules we hold to for every tool
- It runs in your browser, not on our server. The computation happens on your own device. There is no submit button, no network request, and no data leaving your machine.
- No account required. No sign-up, no email address, and no usage limit that forces you to log in first.
- It can be checked. Where a tool calculates something, the formula or method is explained on that tool's page so you can verify the result rather than trust a black box.
The first rule has a consequence worth stating plainly: because nothing is transmitted, we also cannot recover anything you do in our tools. Close the tab and the result is gone unless you saved it. That is the price of not tracking you, and we think it is the right trade.
Tools that are available
No tool has been published yet. We do not put a button in front of a tool that does not exist. When the first one ships, its card appears here with an explanation of how it works and a statement of whether it runs in your browser or on a server.
Why "free" tools are often not free
This is the part other sites usually leave out, and it is the reason we restrict ourselves to tools that run in the browser.
A tool that looks simple — a converter, a calculator, a link checker — is often funded in a way its users never see. Three patterns dominate.
| Pattern | How to recognise it | The risk to you |
|---|---|---|
| What you paste is stored or sold | There is no explanation of what happens to your data after processing | If you paste a document or code containing a secret, that content now sits on someone else's server |
| Third-party scripts on the tool page | The page loads scripts from several domains you do not recognise | Those scripts run with the page's permissions and can read whatever you paste |
| The result is gated behind sign-up | The tool is useful, but output only appears after you enter an email address | Your address joins a marketing list and is frequently passed on |
How to check any tool in ten seconds: open it, then watch whether a network request leaves when you press the process button. In most browsers the developer panel (F12, then the Network tab) shows this. A tool that genuinely runs in your browser will work in aeroplane mode.
If our tools do not cover your need
We would rather say this than let you search for yourself: our tools are deliberately narrow. If what you need is not here, two things are usually more useful than picking a random online tool.
- Use what your system already has. Much of what people search for on tool sites is already present on their computer or phone, runs locally, and sends nothing anywhere. Knowing that saves time and reduces risk at the same time.
- Ask in the community. If several people need the same tool, that is a good candidate for us to build. The place is the community.
About DEWA89, and who runs this site
DEWA89 is a technology education platform. The site you are reading is the brand's official home: where we explain who we are, what is available, how the community is run, and how to reach us.
We promise nothing we cannot demonstrate, and we publish nothing you cannot check. Where a page states a figure, a price or a commitment, that statement lives on the page itself — not only in an advertisement, and not only on a page that has since been deleted.
How this site is run
- No tracking. There are no cookies, no analytics, no advertising pixels and no third-party scripts on this site. We collect nothing about you while you read.
- Reading needs no account. Every page on this site can be read without registering. There is no visitor database and no form on these pages that gathers data. An account is only needed for features that store something of yours; the registration page will be linked from the navigation once registration is actually open.
- No affiliate links. No link on these educational pages pays us a commission. If that changes, the change is disclosed where the link appears.
What we do not claim
- We are not an accredited institution. We do not issue diplomas and we do not present our material as equivalent to formal education.
- We do not promise outcomes. Learning technology takes time, and no platform can guarantee a job or an income.
- We do not replace professional help. For a legal or medical question, or a security incident that has already happened to your account, the body that can act is the authority — not us.
